Biography
My name is David Lowry, and I became infatuated with cybersecurity when I join the Cyberpatriot club in Middle School. It became my calling for the next 5 years up until now when I plan to major in it in college. I choose to work on cybersecurity because I love it and think that it is a topic that is majorly underrepresented when you are talking about general threats to the majority of people nowadays. My hope is that my thesis work helps people understand the risks behind putting themselves out there on the internet and letting the whole world know who they are.
Abstract
The advance of the cybersecurity space throughout the world has directly impacted everyone living on the planet. Despite this, many people do not know the full extent of the dangers of cybersecurity or even what it is. Crime and attacks are evolving from traditional forms of warfare into cyber attacks and cybercrime which everyone needs to be protected from. Following this line of thought, there are many threats that people need to be aware of to truly be able to protect themselves. People need to learn about cybersecurity for the advancement of the world to be possible, and not fall into the mire of misery that comes from being unprotected.
